An Open Letter to President Obama

Mr. President,

It is with a heavy heart I write this letter.  I have to admit I didn't vote for you either time, but I did have hope.  You and Mrs. Obama "slipped" and said a couple of things in your first campaign that kept me from voting for you.  Mrs. Obama's quip about the first time in her adult s life she was proud of her country, and yours about conservatives clinging to their Bibles and guns, they lost me.  At that point there was no way I could vote for you even though I've never been a fan of John McCain.  Still I had hope.

Sir, the only hope I have for you now is for you to retire.  You see Mr. Obama, I will soon be 55 years old, and in that time you sir have been the worst thing I've seen happen to our country.  I've also always loved American History and consider myself fairly knowledgeable about American History. I believe America is a great Country, the best in the history of the world. Still even as I say the best, there have been many bad things that have happened. Andrew Jackson, the way some American Indians were treated, slavery, Civil Rights issues, etc.. we've had our problems, all of which pale in comparison sir to the damage you and your inner circle have done.

In my worst nightmare I could never have believed one person could do the damage to this great country you have done. I could give so many examples of reasons for you to retire: Your assaults on the Constitution, the harm you have caused our National Security by turning on our long term allies, and supporting our enemies like the Muslim Brotherhood, the negotiations with Iran, the list goes on.

 In your 5 years as President you have supported turning our Nations back on God more than all past President's combined. Your stance on "Don't ask don't tell", your stance on abortion, and your "evolution" on gay marriage. Just your stance on homosexuality alone is enough to show in spite of your proclamations to the contrary, you could care less about what God says in The Holy Bible.  From the New Testament:

Romans 1:18-32

New International Version (NIV)

God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

You have lied and lied and lied to the American public.  I don't mean little "white lies" or lies of omission, I don't even mean telling something you think is true but turns out to be false. I mean flat out, "I'm going to say what I want to get my way and I could care less that its a lie" type of lying. Then, when you are caught in a lie, you look in the American peoples eye, and you lie about lying! You need to resign or Congress needs to gather the courage to impeach you.

Mr. President, have you ever read what God says about lying?  You say you are a Christian, if so surely you have.  Let me refresh you:

Leviticus 19:11 You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
Psalms 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but your law do I love.
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hates lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame.
Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
Proverbs 17:7 Excellent speech becomes not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
Hosea 11:12 Ephraim compasses me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet rules with God, and is faithful with the saints.
Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers.
Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;
1 Timothy 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
James 3:1 My brothers, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
Mr. President, when you of all people openly turn your back on God, as you so obviously have, you lead your Nation to turn their back on God. All through  history God has punished Nations, and rulers of Nations who turn against God.  I Pray everyday that God will either soften your heart, remove the scales from your eyes and lead you to Jesus.  I also Pray every day if you don't turn to God that He will replace you soon with a Godly Man!
